Client Brief

Khammam Zilla Parishad is a local government body at the district level in Andhra Pradesh, India. It looks after the administration of the rural area of the Khammam district. GPF project essentially captures General Provident Fund details, Loan Issue & Recovery details and Report generation based on the GPF Account Number. In addition, website also provides forms for applying GPF Loan (Full, Part/Final Balance Payment).

Objectives

ZP insisted not to change the existing functionality but to add following User requirements for additional or new features:

  1. Entire Source needs to be installed on Server
  2. In Reports, GPF should have customized reporting.
  3. User Guide on Total Functionality
  4. Auto Backup of whole DB & Tables every Week or day
  5. Generated Online Report is to be uploaded to Website for anyone to view/browse through

What We Did

Harvest Technologies successfully implemented all the requirement below and launched the website at the Khammam ZP premises.

  1. Entire Source needs to be installed on Server
  2. In Reports, GPF should have customized selection of reporting fields like
      i. From-A/c no to To-A/c No
      ii. From-Date to To-Date
      iii. From-Page to To-Page while Printing Pages
      iv. Printing should be continuous stream and paper ejection should be automatic.
      v. Report should be printed in DOC mode.
  3. User Guide on Total Functionality   4. Auto Backup of whole DB & Tables every Week or day
  5. Generated Online Report is to be uploaded to Website for anyone to view/browse through

Results

This is an intranet site with much more user friendly front-end and with new features being added up, given greater flexibility, reliability over the past system.
