PHP developers - 2+ Years Experience

We are looking for talented programmer to join our team, ablity is more important than the current skill set. Candidates with any level of experience will be considered from graduate through to senior developer.
Skills Required:
- Experience of object oriented programming / modular programming (essential).
- Understanding of MVC design patterns and frameworks (essential).
- Front-end development including jQuery (desirable, not essential).
- Understanding of Ajax (desirable, not essential).
- Experience of the full software development lifecycle: from requirements gathering and functional specification authoring, to development, testing and delivery (desirable, not essential).
- Smarty templating (desirable, not essential).
- Commercial experience in Web Application development and / or software development (desirable, not essential).
- Some knowledge of the Linux command line (desirable, not essential).
- Good levels of communication. Both written and verbal.
Roles & Reponsibilities:
- Develop new features for existing solutions using PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS based on design specifications and customer requirements that connect to a fully normalized MySQL database.
- Implement and support existing applications using the technologies mentioned above.
- Recommend code and design optimizations to improve the scalability of the applications and maximize performance.
